Instead, what we at Networks First have done in the past, is adopt a more consultative approach and discuss which elements that the customer is having difficulties with and examine each element in isolation; in many cases a simple restructuring of the cardholder data environment can result in meeting some of the PCI DSS standards and not necessarily the costly implementation of devices that claim to be able to regulate PCI Compliance. I would be interested to hear other professionals comments regarding this.
