Pre-Deployment Network Assessments
Whether you are deploying VoIP, a Wireless network or deploying video there is one key question that needs to be answered:
Will your current network be able to support the new demands placed on it?
For a VoIP deployment to be successful a clear understanding of the network, if it is fit for purpose and whether if it can be modified to support this key application is crucial. The assessment will identify any modifications required, ultimately saving time and money by understanding the development and planning requirements.
For our IP telephony assessement we are certified to conduct Cisco and Avaya CIRS tests since 2005, Networks First is able to perform manufacturer agnostic assessments using software that is recognised by industry standards for modelling voice quality.
The assessment will provide you with:
- Manufacturer specific and industry design and implementation best practices for IP telephony
- Active Call Quality Test - Using simulated VOIP Traffic to determine industry standard voice quality MOS ratings through typical voice paths anticipated through the network infrastructure
- Executive Report – Summarises findings and provides a set of conclusions and recommendations as appropriate to ensure the network is fit for purpose for the proposed IP Telephony project
Networks First's Pre Deployment Assessment is broken into two distinct phases:
Evaluation Phase – design and implementation best practise determining if significant issues exist
Test Phase – An active test on the network to provide evidence that network conditions are suitable for the successful deployment of IP telephony. The test phase may follow any network enhancements identified in the evaluation phase
